Our organic true spinach has small, juicy leaves, a sweet flavour and endless possibilities in the kitchen.
We grow two types of spinach: this delicate true spinach (in season late summer and early autumn), and the more robust perpetual spinach beet. True spinach has small, juicy leaves with a sweet flavour. Wonderfully versatile, it's just as good raw in salads or cooked, and tender enough to eat whole, stalks and all.

How to prepare
Wash well to remove any grit and dirt; it's best to put the leaves in a large bowl of water and let any dirt sink to the bottom. Toss raw into salads, or wilt into soups, sauces and curries at the last moment for a burst of green freshness. For a simple side, wilt spinach with a grating of nutmeg, salt and pepper, and a squeeze of lemon.
