Tomatillos should be eaten when they're firm and green, so don't wait for them to look like tomatoes.
Boil for 5 mins if you want to cook and use them in salsa or a soup, or they're great roasted like tomatoes, but for a few minutes less (10-15 mins).
Store in the salad compartment of your fridge and use within a week.
