the big chill continues

It always surprises me how quickly January passes on the farm. It seems like only yesterday that we were all immersed in harvesting the Christmas veg. Since then the enduring chill has brought the fields to a near standstill and we are struggling to keep enough greens (which need harvesting just before they are packed) in the boxes. Many of the cabbages that were intended for harvesting in February are never going to reach to their expected size, so we will double them up in the boxes, and trust you to judge them on flavour, not size. We are selling some undersized (but great flavour) Savoy cabbages as a 2-pack for
