We’ve joined the sourdough revolution. Our loaf is handmade using just organic flour, water, salt and a natural yeast leaven. It takes 48 hours to prepare and bake each loaf, but it’s worth it get the sourdough just how we like it: crumpet-like in texture, complexly flavoured, and finished off with a deeply coloured, pleasingly chewy crust.


While the bread tastes great on delivery to your door, to make it even better place in a warm oven for 5-10 mins before eating. It will restore crunch to the crust – as if fresh from the baker’s oven.

It makes superlative toast, bruschetta and croutons, and should you have any leftover it makes the ultimate breadcrumbs, too. We’d recommend it buttered and slathered in marmalade for breakfast, layered with smashed avocado and herbs for lunch, or used to mop up a hearty stew for dinner


Store in a cool place, once open store in the bag or a bread bin or freeze on day of delivery.


At Riverford we take decisions about the packaging we use very seriously, therefore we will be moving to home compostable packaging for our bread.

Their bakers told us they’ve really enjoyed creating our bread range, inspired by our recipe team’s passion and knowledge.
