About inverawe smoked salmon
Inverawe’s organic salmon come from the most northerly isle in the Shetlands. The entire farming cycle is organic and the fish are stocked at low densities in fast moving, tidal waters. This means excellent water quality and healthier fish. The fish are fed by hand. There’s no need for artificial colourings, as the feed contains shrimp, a natural source of pigment in the diet of wild salmon. This results in a paler fleshed fish, with a fresh taste and texture.
