Oranges will store for up to two weeks at room temperature or in the fridge.
Our seville oranges are sold as class 2. This means that they might not look cosmetically perfect, but they are grown for the very best flavour. (We have to tell you this to satisfy some EU rules).
Country of origin
Grown in Spain.
Seville oranges are the very best variety for traditional marmalade. We get ours from Ave Maria Farm in Mairena del Alcor; the organic groves produce wonderfully knobbly, thick-skinned fruits, with the incredible fragrance and unusually high pectin content that Seville oranges are prized for. A January marmalade-making session is a good antidote to the mayhem of Christmas and New Year; get slicing and simmering, and fill your house with bittersweet aroma.
