Rich, creamy butter with a Christmassy kick of brandy, handmade to our recipe by Brue Valley Farms in Somerset. They double-churn the butter from their pampered organic herd using traditional barrel techniques, for the most sumptuously creamy spoonful possible. An essential for dolloping on Christmas pudding and mince pies.

About Brue Valley Farms

Owned by the Clapp family for over four centuries, Brue Valley Farms now occupies three neighbouring Somerset farms. They are passionate about producing superior quality dairy products and rely on traditional farmhouse methods for making their butter, including proper ‘old-fashioned’ butter-making equipment. But that’s not all. The family’s herd of 600 Holstein-Friesian cows are possibly the most pampered cattle in Britain. Waterbeds, regular pedicures and classical music in the milking parlour ensure the cows remain comfortable and relaxed. It’s hardly surprising that they produce such high quality creamy milk!
