Here’s what we’ll be up to:

save the bees night

Save the Bees Night

22nd June 7pm (6pm for Pollinator Hedgerow Walk)

Our native bees are dying out. Some experts predict that with the associated decline in flora pollination, we could lose up to a third of our diet. Last year, we focussed on honey bees, and this summer we turn our attention to bumblebees.

Gill Perkins, from The Bumblebee Conversation Trust, joins us for an evening to discuss bees and what we can do to help their plight. There will be a hedgerow ‘pollinator’ walk before supper at 6pm followed by a short talk & Q&A.

The Riverford Field Kitchen team have designed a three-course menu focusing on pollinator ingredients and to demonstrate the wonderful breath of the contribution bees make to our diet beyond just honey.

3 Course supper £27.50. To book call 01803 762074.

Let us know when booking if you’d like to join the pollinator walk at 6pm
