Goat Night with Cabrito

11nd May 7pm

Ever wondered why we have so much goat dairy in the UK but rarely see goat meat on a menu?

Cabrito kids are a by-product of the dairy industry and would have in the past been euthanized shortly after birth. In a world of dwindling resources and rising food prices Cabrito believe this cannot be justified. They now have a network of farms producing high quality meat from a previously wasted resource.

The Riverford Field Kitchen is proud to host James Whetlor & Cabrito for a night of goat meat treats alongside our signature organic vegetables and the opportunity to learn more about this farming practice.

£27.50 for 3 courses. To book call 01803 762074 or click here.

Organic Wine Night with Domaine Begude

18th May 7pm

British couple, Catherine & James Kinglake, bought Domaine Begude in 2003 and employ a knowledgeable French-Australian wine making team. The estate is nestled at 300m altitude in the foothills of the Pyrenees, in Limoux in the south of France. Hot sunny days, cool nights, clay-limestone soil and a unique fermentation process contribute to produce their exceptional organic wines. Meet the producers at this special evening of wine tasting alongside a wonderful Riverford supper.

£40 for 3 course supper with wine (£30 for drivers). To book call 01803 762074 or click here.
