
Print Quick and simple tasty chard
Add punchy ginger and garlic, hot chilli and salty soy sauce for a flavour-packed, quick and easy way with chard. This also works with other greens – spinach, kale, spring and winter greens and cabbage. It makes a good vegetarian and vegan side to pretty much anything.
Ingredients
- Chard
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Chilli
- Soy sauce
Method
- As the white stalks and green leaves cook at different rates, the best way to cook chard it is to chop them up separately, then stir fry just the stalks in a little oil for a few minutes, until almost tender.
- Add the leaves with a little chopped garlic, ginger and chilli, then fry for a couple more minutes or so, adding a little soy sauce to finish.
