Simply cooked purple sprouting broccoli, with lemon and butter
Ingredients
- 500g purple sprouting broccoli, trimmed
- 50g butter, melted
- juice and zest of ½ lemon, more to taste
- 75g hazelnuts or almonds, toasted and chopped
- salt and pepper

Step 1
Steam or boil broccoli for about 3 minutes, until just tender. -
Step 2
Drain, place on a serving platter. Drizzle with the melted butter and lemon juice and zest. -
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle over the chopped nuts.
