Chocolate and ginger sauce
Ingredients
- 150ml milk
- 30ml double cream
- 50g plain chocolate
- 25g butter
- 15ml golden syrup
- 2cm piece fresh ginger

Step 1
Put the milk in a pan and bring to the boil. Stir in the cream then keep warm. -
Step 2
Melt the chocolate and mix together with the butter. Peel the ginger and grate into the chocolate mix. Mix all the ingredients together and keep warm until ready to serve. -
Step 3
This is delicious served with a steamed sponge or ice cream.
