Beef merguez

You could serve these as little meatballs with a lamb shawarma.


  • 500g beef mince
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 generous tbsp herby harissa paste
  • ½ tsp salt

    Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Knead until it just begins to come together. Form into patties, meatballs or, if you have some kebab sticks, sausage shapes. Griddle, grill or barbecue until cooked through.
