Rump is the beef steak cut to choose for fantastic flavour without having to dig too deeply in your pocket. The quality of the grass-fed beef shines through, and it takes just minutes to cook. Grill, griddle or fry for a really special but ultra-quick meal.

How to prepare

Remove the steaks from the fridge 20 mins before cooking. Season generously, brush with oil and griddle or fry in a hot pan for 2-3 mins per side for medium-rare. For well done, turn the heat down and cook for a couple more mins. Let them rest somewhere warm for at least 5 mins before serving.


Keep in the fridge below 5˚C. If you’re not going to eat it within a day or two, freeze your meat as soon as possible and always within the use by date. Once frozen, use within a month. Use on the day of defrosting.
