Magnificent buttery, delicate and creamy avocados.

Our organic avocados are buttery, delicate and very creamy – adding flavour and rich goodness to all sorts of dishes. Grown in the sun by organic farmers in Spain half the year, and Peru the other half, then transported by ship (we never airfreight), ripening as they go. They’ll need to ripen a bit more at home; to speed it along, pop them in a paper bag with a ripe banana, until they give to a gentle squeeze.

We only sell Hass avocados, famed for their distinctive thick, wrinkly skin that protects the creamy green-tinged flesh inside.

How to prepare

Add to salads, sandwiches and smoothies; make the best organic guacamole; or, for an easy meal, mash onto toast with a squeeze of lemon and a scrunch of seasoning.

BBQ tip: Not the obvious choice for the grill, but a quick flash over the flames adds a moreish smoky taste. It’s a good way to tackle a slightly underripe specimen, as the heat will soften the flesh. Halve the avocado and remove the stone, but leave the skin on. Rub the cut surface with a little olive oil and season generously with salt. Place it directly on the grill bars, cut-side down, over a medium heat. Cook for 2-3 mins or until you have distinct grill marks. Dress with a squeeze of lemon, and serve warm. Ideal topped with salsa.


Our current avocados are an early season crop, meaning they may take longer to ripen than usual (it can be as much as two weeks, but they will get there!). You can speed them along by putting a banana in the paper bag with them; bananas release ethylene, which helps trigger the ripening process.
