Organic Yellow plums
Soft, juicy and outstandingly sweet, these aptly named Sun Gold plums are our favourite yellow variety by far – and their season is all too brief.
Fill your boots while you can! When they are very ripe, their golden hue might gain some brown markings. Don’t worry – this is just caused by high sugar levels. They should still be excellent to eat.
These golden hued plums are grown by Emilio Moreno on his biodynamic farm near Badajoz in western Spain, only 10km from the border to Portugal. Emilio also grows many of our nectarines.

Leave to ripen in the fruit bowl and eat as soon as they’re ready. They’re ripe when they give a little at a squeeze. Straight from the farm, so please wash before eating. Eat at room temperature for the best flavour. You can freeze plums – cut in half, remove the stone, freeze flat on a tray then place in bags.
