Mike Stringer is the third generation to live and farm at High Collis Wold, Yorkshire; the family has worked there for over 50 years. The Stringers’ shared belief in the importance of conservation and the environment led them to go organic in 1999. Today, Mike lives with his wife Kate and two children, working together on 1100 acres of sheep, cattle and crops. Mike’s friendship with Adam Palmer of Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil and his cold-pressing equipment led to the creation of this fresh organic oil.

How to prepare
Rapeseed oil has a high burn point, making it ideal for frying, pastries, baking, roasting and more. It can also be used as a butter substitute in mashed potato, crumbles and Yorkshire puddings. Or enjoy in its cold, natural form, for dipping crusty bread or drizzling into dressings.
