A cold snap has made it harder to fill the boxes with our own produce without the variety suffering. The spring greens, cabbages, kales and purple sprouting broccoli will be there in abundance once we get some of that mild, damp, Devon weather more typical of our winters. Some of the spinach we cut in the autumn is re-growing and looks and tastes good, which is a welcome bonus, there will also be some in the large boxes this week.
