lots to celebrate

The farm has been bathed in almost continuous sunshine for two weeks, giving us a wonderful start to the new season. The cows are out, the spreaders are flinging muck, and lettuce, cabbage, onions, carrots and potatoes are being planted into perfect, rapidly warming seedbeds. The last of the cabbages, leeks, greens and cauliflower still need harvesting for the boxes, so we are happily hectic in the fields. If my plans work out, this week
