Our tasty, satisfying raisin and nut muesli is packed with 100% organic ingredients. The hearty base of British oats and barley flakes is mixed with plump, sweet raisins and sultanas, pumpkin seeds, and the rich crunch of almonds and hazelnuts. Just add a dollop of yogurt or a splash of your favourite milk, and perhaps some fresh fruit, for a really special breakfast.
This rich fruit and seed muesli is made for us by Alara – sustainable cereal pioneers. The business was started by Alex Smith in 1975, with just £2 which he found on the street. Alex had been living in squats, without money – but £2 was the cost to get a van into New Covent Garden Market. He borrowed a friend’s Morris Minor pickup truck, foraged for fruit and veg from the market’s dustbins, and took it back to sell from the squat. Alara grew from those humble beginnings! In 1988, they were the first cereal company in the world to be certified organic. They were also the first to create a muesli without added sugar, and in 2008 they became the first food company in the UK with zero waste; nothing from their factory goes to landfill.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place and after opening fold down the inner bag to keep contents fresh.
The clear bag inside may look like plastic, but is actually a plant-based material that can be composted at home. Add to your compost heap or return it to us with your box.
