Rinse it well in a sieve under cold water before cooking to remove dust and excess starch. Steamed or boiled jasmine rice is a versatile accompaniment. Storage

Once you’ve opened the packet, store it somewhere cool and dark and it’ll last indefinitely, although it’ll be at its best eaten within 6 months. Keep cooked rice in the fridge and eat it within 48 hours.
