Flour Power City Bakery is an artisan bakery committed to taste and ethical business. They started out in 1999 in a disused bakery in Hoxton Street full of ideas: to use simple, good ingredients, to make bread the old fashioned way, to keep it organic whenever possible and to take an ethical approach to business. Now based in Lewisham they are the largest organic bakery in London with over 40 highly skilled and passionate artisan bakers creating speciality organic breads, sourdoughs, pastries and cakes. They only use the highest quality ingredients and use Shipton Mill Flour which has been stoneground since the time of the Doomsday Book. All products are handmade using traditional techniques and their breads are left to prove naturally for up to 24 hours.
