Bunched edamame beans

Bunched edamame beans

Availability: In stock

Fresh, nutty edamame beans in their pods and on the stalks, ready for you to pick off. Grown by our farming co-op member John Walter Symons on his organic Devon farm, these are considered a ‘superfood’ by many; we think they are simply very tasty. Most edamame beans are only available frozen, so this fresh crop is extra special.

Keep in the bag in the fridge until you are ready to cook them. Best eaten within a couple of days.

Boil simply

Don’t pod them! Wash and rub the pods with good quality sea salt, then leave to season for 15 mins. Boil the entire pods in salted water for 3-4 mins, then drain and sprinkle with more sea salt. Pod as you eat; best enjoyed warm or at room temperature as a pre-dinner snack, perhaps with a cold beer.

Edamame beans are soya beans. Allergens in bold.

Country of origin

Grown in the United Kingdom.
