Cox’s Orange Pippin (often just called Cox’s) is a classic English apple, renowned as one of the very tastiest dessert varieties. It popped up in an orchard in 1830 as a chance seedling, and has been beloved ever since for its complex flavour and fine-grained, crisp, very juicy flesh. Cox’s are quite tricky to grow – but well worth the effort. Best eaten raw and fresh.

Ripens from October to December. Best eaten ripe straight from the tree, this variety of apple will only keep well for a few weeks.

Our apples are sold as class 2. This means that they might not look cosmetically perfect, but they are grown for the very best flavour. (We have to tell you this to satisfy some EU rules).
