The main ingredients for your tastiest Christmas ever, with free delivery in time for the big day. Our organic, grass-fed 2.75kg rib of beef – beautifully French trimmed in our own butchery – is the king of roasts: it has natural fat running through, which flavours and bastes the beef as it cooks. Alongside, a festive veg box bursting with 10 freshly picked varieties.

Feeds 6-8 people generously.

Our organic beef comes from our group of small-scale organic farmers in the South West, who rear their animals to the highest welfare standards around. Their herds are grass-fed and enjoy an outdoor existence roaming on organic pasture, reaching maturity naturally.

How to prepare

Remove the beef from the fridge about 30 mins before cooking. Rub with a little plain oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Brown it well on all sides in a large frying pan; alternatively, roast it in as high an oven as possible for 20 mins to brown. Roast at 180˚C/Gas 4 for a further 20 mins per 500g (add/subtract 10 mins for well done/rare). Rest for 20-30 mins under foil and add any juices to the gravy.

Veg storage: Delivered fresh from the farm, so wash before eating. Store in a cool place. Minimum shelf life – 1 week.

Meat storage: Keep in the fridge below 5°C and use by the date on the label. Beef can be frozen on the day of delivery, Minimum use by date 26th December.
