Everything you need for an organic Christmas dinner.

The star of the show is a small Bronze breed turkey; a slow-growing traditional breed, with tender meat and a rich natural flavour. We source ours from organic family farms in the West Country, for outstanding quality and welfare.

Alongside, a large festive veg box stuffed with all the iconic veg of the season, 20 pigs in blankets, pork and apricot stuffing, and handmade cranberry sauce.

Feeds 6-8 people generously.

Veg is grown by us, or by small-scale family farms we know, trust and look after. Our turkeys are traditional Bronze birds, slow-reared on small Westcountry farms for maximum flavour and tenderness. Cranberry sauce is made to our own recipe by our friends at Kitchen Garden. Pigs in blankets and stuffing made in our own butchery, both with pork from Helen Browning’s organic farm in Wiltshire.

How to prepare

To cook the turkey: Preheat the oven to 190°C/Gas 5. Remove the giblets. Transfer to a large roasting tin, breast-side up, and brush the breast and legs with melted butter before seasoning. Cover the whole bird with foil to protect the skin from over browning and transfer to the oven for 45 mins/kg (40 mins fan assisted oven). Every hour, baste with its juices. 30 mins before the end of the cooking time, remove the foil to allow the skin to brown up. Check if the meat is thoroughly cooked by inserting a carving fork into the thickest area of both breast and thighs. If the juices are pink, return to the oven for another 15 mins, then test again.

Veg storage: Delivered fresh from the farm, so wash before eating. Store in a cool place. Minimum shelf life – 1 week.

Meat storage: Keep in the fridge below 5°C and use by the date on the label. Turkey can be frozen on the day of delivery, but pigs in blankets and stuffing have been previously frozen so do not re-freeze. Minimum use by date 26th December.
