Chard & onion tart with olives
Creamy chard and onion filling, with depth and texture from the olives, in crisp buttery pastry. Fantastic for quick meals and entertaining. Serves 4-6.
Handmade by our own team in the Riverford Farm Shop kitchen. Guy’s brother Ben Watson, with his encyclopedic knowledge of food, is the inspiration behind the recipes. Ben’s team runs a busy production kitchen on our farm in Devon. We make everything by hand and put flavour first – if it doesn’t taste outstanding, we’ll keep working on it until it does. Our organic pies, tarts and marmalade have won awards in national taste tests.
How to prepare
Ready to eat. To reheat, sprinkle with a few drops of water and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20-25 mins until piping hot.
Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days and use by the date on the label or freeze on the day of delivery.
