bangladesh cyclone appeal

This year we've decided not to send Christmas cards and The money saved will go to the Bangladesh Cyclone Appeal.

Cyclone Sidr hit southern Bangladesh in November this year; the worst cyclone in more than a decade with winds destroying houses and waves tearing families apart. The immediate emergency is to provide food, shelter, medicine, clean water and sanitation. In the longer terms seeds and tools are needed to start growing again where the cyclone has destroyed crops, and schools and clinics will be rebuilt. Our Riverford sister farms are continuing to support charities in Uganda training farmers and school children sustainable farming, with part of the money going towards building a water tank for a remote orphanage.
