Easter day out at Riverford on Wash Farm,

Come along to our organic farm for a free Easter day out, packed with fun activities for everyone to enjoy. Keep the children entertained with an Easter egg hunt (£1.50 for the hunt), egg decorating, farm animals, tractor rides, storytelling and face painting and pick up a tip or two on cooking with seasonal vegetables in our Riverford Cooks demonstration. Organic refreshments available. We.ll have plenty of eggs to last through the day, so no long queues!

Send A Cow Supper

As part of our Send A Cow fortnight, we are holding an evening hosted by Guy Watson (Riverford Founder) and guest speaker Margaret Kifuko (Ugandan farmer). The evening starts at 6.45pm with a talk by Guy and Margaret about the similarities and differences of farming in Uganda and the UK, followed by an African-themed two course supper and coffee.
£20 per person. Please book and pay in advance.
Send A Cow Open Day
Monday 3rd May
We are giving our visitors the chance to see the workings of an African farm here at Riverford with our guest Ugandan farmer Margaret. Come and learn about keyhole gardens, bag gardens, and say hello to our goat, then we'll take a walk around the farm. Two sessions available at 10h30 or 14h30 (lasting two hours) - places are limited so you'll need to book.
