what can I expect?

Eating in the Field Kitchen is something to remember. We think great food tastes even better when you enjoy it with other people, so you will share your table with fellow diners for a feast of the freshest seasonal produce from our fields.

For lunch we serve a set menu of five vegetable side dishes and one meat dish on the table for you to help yourself. (If you’d like a vegetarian alternative to the meat dish please ask us when you book.) Portions are generous and there’ll be plenty to go round. When it comes to pudding, we'll bring you up to the kitchen to choose from a wickedly tempting selection.

Supper is a three course menu which starts with antipasti followed by a main course of five vegetable dishes and one meat dish for the table. And of course the selection of puddings to complete the meal.

Children are welcome and if your little one needs a high chair let us know when you book.

drinks aplenty

We have European wine, juices from Devon, and cider, beer and spirits from independent suppliers. Round off your meal with a liqueur and coffee from La Spaziale, our fiesty-sounding coffee machine! See our full drinks menu.

can I walk around the farm?

You can take a leisurely walk around the farm. Pick up an mp3 player from the Field Kitchen and do a short or longer walk around the farm listening to Guy Watson who knows the farm inside out and even encourages you to pick the odd vegetable on the way.
